Playground Project Details
Easterseals of Volusia County is located in Daytona Beach, Florida and specializes in the care and education of children with special needs of all types. Easterseals provides exceptional services, education, outreach, and advocacy so that people living with autism and other disabilities can live, learn, work and play in our communities. Special care and attention needed to be taken to ensure we created a unique and special play environment for these special children.
Our team of experts met with the director of the facility and toured the campus. We were so moved by the work being done at the facility, we knew we had to provide them an outstanding playground. We decided to start from scratch and were able to handle every aspect of the project in house. This project included the removal of old playground equipment, grading and excavation, the installation of a new large commercial shade structure, commercial playground equipment and poured in place rubber surfacing.
Special Considerations
This project required us to complete the work while school was in session, additionally were were in the middle of a hurricane during the installation! We were determined not to let down the children or staff an pushed forward to complete the project.
